The 2010 Grand Prix of Bahrain was held on March 14 2010. It was the 1st event of the season. The Grand Prix was held at the Bahrain International Circuit and was 49 laps long. The race was won by Fernando Alonso. The Spaniard, who drove for Ferrari, finished the race in 1:39:20.396. He had a lead of 16.0 secs to Felipe Massa who came in second and finished 23.1 secs in front of Lewis Hamilton who was third. Of the 24 drivers who competed in the race, 7 retired.
