Jean Behra was a French former Formula 1 driver who last drove for Ferrari in 1959.
He was born on February 16th 1921 in Nice and passed away on August 1st 1959 at the age of 38. He debuted for Gordini during the 1952 Grand Prix of Switzerland. Behra was active for 8 consecutive seasons between 1952 and 1959. He scored 51 points in 52 races. During his career Behra wasn't able to win a race but finished 8 times on the podium.
