Maurice Trintignant was a French former Formula 1 driver who last drove for BRM in 1964.
He was born on October 30th 1917 in Sainte-Cecile-les-Vignes and passed away on February 13th 2005 at the age of 87. His first race was the 1950 Grand Prix of Monaco where he drove for Simca-Gordini. Trintignant was active for 15 consecutive seasons between 1950 and 1964. He scored 72 points in 81 races. During his career Trintignant achieved 2 wins and 8 podiums. His last race was the the 1964 Grand Prix of Italy.
