Mike Parkes was a British former Formula 1 driver who last drove for Ferrari in 1967.
He was born on September 24th 1931 in Richmond and passed away on August 28th 1977 at the age of 45. He made his Grand Prix debut in a Fry-Climax during the 1959 Grand Prix of Great Britain. Parkes was active for 3 seasons between 1959 and 1967. In those years he scored 14 points in 6 races. During his career Parkes wasn't able to win a race but finished 2 times on the podium. His last race was the the 1967 Grand Prix of Belgium.
