Kobayashi will stay at Sauber

Kamui Kobayashi is perhaps one of the biggest talents F1 has seen in the last few years. The Japanese driver is best known for his overtaking moves. He said to Auto Motor und Sport that it's simple: "The strategy is always the same: you must pass. Last year I wasn't able to overtake on the straights, the Sauber was just too slow, so I had to try it at the turns and chicanes. It doesn't matter who it is, you just have to brake later. Barrichello is always tough though."
Kobayashi had his best finish of the season in Monaco, although it's not a track he prefers he finished P5: "Monte Carlo is definitely not one of my favourite tracks. I rather drive on the super fast tracks. After Barcelona I told Peter Sauber that I don't want to finish as tenth anymore." At the moment the Japanese driver is a hot property on speculation lists. Rumours have him moving to Red Bull and Ferrari but he says he is not going anywhere: "My loyalty to Peter is very big. He had confidence in me. I owe him almost everything in F1. Next to that I fulfill my contracts to the last day."
