Button: Good to see us pushing Red Bull

Jenson Button had a reasonably good Barcelona Grand Prix last Sunday. He finished on the podium after dropping a lot of places at the start. The pace of the McLaren was good in the race, especially in the tight and curvy third sector. "We were good in Turkey in the last sector and in Barcelona," says Button. "Whether it changes when you have got a barrier next to the circuit I don’t know, we will have to see. But I think we have to be positive coming into this race."
Button was excited seeing the team being able to battle the Red Bull of Sebastian Vettel for the win: "The last race was good for Lewis and myself after lap one and he was able to push Sebastian until the end. It has been a little while since we have seen that so it shows that the upgrades that we brought did help. We always want more but I think it was a good upgrade."
He isn't sure about his chances this weekend: "Here I really don’t know where we are going to be, but we should be positive. Mechanically I think our car is strong and we will see. Our KERS system is very good. I know there are another four cars with it but it should work well for us."
Last year Button failed to finish the race after his engine failed in the second lap. Today the Brit was fourth in the second free practice.
