Booth: D'Ambrosio's position is safe if contract is fulfilled

Over the last couple of days there have been some doubts about the position of Jerome d'Ambrosio at Marussia Virgin Racing. According to Belgian media his sponsors haven't paid the team on time. John Booth, team principal of Virgin, has responded to the reports: "Jérôme has done a fantastic job in the first four races of his debut season in Formula One. Together with Timo Glock Marussia Virgin Racing has a very strong line-up and the growing competitiveness between the two is very exciting."
But despite his words of praise Booth is clear about the situation: "As with any driver agreement with the Team, as long as the terms of the contract are fulfilled, it would be our intention to continue with Jérôme."
D'Ambrosio's manager Eric Boullier (also team principal at Renault) has had meetings with both John Booth and the personal sponsors of the Belgian in order to resolve the situation. The outcome of those talks is as of yet unknown.
